So have a smile on your face,&quot; says Robert.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;People here are really funny. We know how to welcome our guests.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>But he adds: &quot;Be honest. Russians don&#039;t like it when someone lies to them.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>You&#039;ve been warned.<\/p>\n<h2>The venues<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A guide to each stadium hosting a World Cup match<\/li>\n<li>What England fans need to know about Group G World Cup venues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>England&#039;s three group matches are all being played at different stadiums.    <\/p>\n<p>Here are Robert&#039;s tips for if you&#039;ve got a couple of days either side of the matches. <\/p>\n<h2>Tunisia v England: Volgograd Arena<\/h2>\n<figure>             <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ichef.bbci.co.uk\/images\/ic\/720x405\/p06975ck.jpg\"\/>Media playback is unsupported on your device<figcaption>Media captionWorld Cup venue Volgograd saw intense fighting in WW2<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Volgograd was the site of one of the most famous battles of World War Two - the Battle of Stalingrad.<\/p>\n<p>The Soviet Union defeated Nazi forces in 1943 - which makes it &quot;a hero&#039;s city,&quot; according to Robert. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;You have to visit the Mamayev Kurgan statue. It&#039;s maybe one of the most famous places in Russia, because of the memorial of war. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&#039;s really huge - taller than the Statue of Liberty. It&#039;s the number one place you should check out.&quot;<\/p>\n<h2>England v Panama: Nizhny Novgorod Stadium<\/h2>\n<figure>                                                                                                       Image copyright                  AFP\/Getty<figcaption>Image caption                                      Nizhny Novgorod Stadium was specially built for the World Cup                              <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&quot;Nizhny Novgorod is not far from Moscow,&quot; says Robert.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember that he&#039;s talking distance in terms of Russia, though. <\/p>\n<p>It&#039;s about 250 miles away from the Russian capital, or roughly the same distance as between London and Newcastle. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;One place I know is the Kremlin [the central fortress].<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&#039;s the centre of the city and of its history. You have to check it out.&quot;<\/p>\n<h2>England v Belgium: Kaliningrad Stadium<\/h2>\n<figure>                                                                                                       Image copyright                  AFP\/Getty<figcaption>Image caption                                      K\u00f6nigsberg Cathedral in Kaliningrad is over 600 years old                              <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The area of Kaliningrad is separate from the main part of Russia - it actually sits between Poland and Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p>It became part of the Soviet Union after World War Two in 1945 and remained a Russian exclave following the Soviet Union&#039;s collapse.<\/p>\n<p>Robert says it&#039;s &quot;more like a European city.
