Two dead in A47 Guyhirn bus and lorry crash
Image copyright Terry-Harris.comTwo men have died in a crash between a double-decker bus and a lorry in the Cambridgeshire Fens, police said.
Some 20 people were injured in the accident at about 07:30 BST on the A47 Thorney Road in Guyhirn.
The East of England Ambulance Service said its crews were "caring for several seriously injured patients".
The air ambulance charity Magpas said it was called to a "major incident" and was treating up to 20 people.
Dan Cody from the charity said they had been treated for injuries of "varied severity" and "about half" had been taken to hospitals.
Cambridgeshire Police has said "a total of 20 people who were travelling in the bus, were injured - nine are seriously injured and 11 have minor injuries".
Media playback is unsupported on your deviceThe East of England Ambulance Service said 16 casualties had been transferred to Peterborough City Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent seven ambulance crews, three ambulance officers, two rapid response vehicles, and a Hazardous Area Response Team.
The accident happened outside the Bretts Transport depot, and photographs from the scene show a Bretts lorry involved. The company declined to comment.
Bus operator First Bus confirmed one of its vehicles was involved, but a spokesman did not comment further.

I'm on the A47 quite near Guyhirn roundabout.
The blue lights are flashing, there are bollards right across the road, and signs up to say the road's closed.
In front of me is a white police van with two PCSOs inside, one of whom has just given directions to a lorry driver who's just stuck there.
I'm only about 15 miles from the centre of Peterborough, but here it's eerily quiet.
